The baby dedication service was a few Sundays ago, and although we took the camera, we forgot to have anyone take pictures during the service with it. What is a dedication? It's a public statement that we want to raise our children to follow the Lord, with His guidance in our home and in our actions. It's not a part of baptism, it really is more of a statement of our intent to follow Jesus' example as we navigate the path of parenthood. The service went great (both girls were great with Pastor Bruce) and we had lunch with all the family at Lakeside afterwards. Bob treated all the kids to candy sticks....which of course was a BIG hit!
